Dezeen Showroom: the appearance of internally illuminated houses informed this outdoor lighting collection by designer Joan Gaspar for Spanish brand Marset.
Named Domus, the collection comprises a series of asymmetrical aluminium and steel bollards that project light through an angular opening.

“It’s essentially an architectural design with linear forms, the upper part creating a unique asymmetrical shape,” Marset said.
“When switched on, its own light enriches the space, resembling a cubicle and reminiscent of the house with its lights on inside that originally inspired the design,” it added.

The bollards can be installed individually or joined together in units of two or three to create a more “sculptural feel”.
The products come in white, black and rust brown finishes to suit any environment and are available in three heights of 26, 36 and 55 centimetres.
