Jake Hall’s Ex Missé Beqiri Details “Unbearable” Pain After His Death at 35
Jake Hall’s legacy as a dad will live on forever.
Following the death of the The Only Way is Essex star on May 6 at the age of 35, Misse Beqiri shared an emotional tribute to her former partner and dad to her 8-year-old daughter River, expressing the “unbearable” pain of the loss.
“There was no way you were ever supposed to go,” Misse continued in her May 10 Instagram post. “My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s. You lit up every room you walked into – your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air. You were so deeply loved by so many people.”
Misse—who dated Jake for five years before their 2021 split—said she loved him from the “very first moment” she saw him.
“Together we created the most beautiful girl, the one you loved more than anything in this world, beyond words,” the 39-year-old continued. “Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her. She adored you – her favourite person, her daddy.”
And indeed, accompanying the post were sweet images of Jake and River. In the first, he’s lying in bed with his then-newborn, a second sees Misse, Jake and River all posing together while a third shows the trio smiling alongside Misse’s son Julian, whom she shares with ex-husband Anders Lindegaard.
“You will be missed,” she continued to Jake in her caption, vowing, “I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly. You are at peace now.”

She concluded, “You left behind your mini version, our River, and for that we are forever grateful. You will always live on through her, and you will forever be with us.”
Jake—who appeared on three seasons of TOWIE before pivoting to work in art and fashion—died in an accident in Mallorca, Spain, on May 6. He is believed to have died from head injuries caused by shards of glass, per The Sun, which cited local officers who responded to the residence.
Following his tragic death, Jake was showered in love from friends and his TOWIE family.

“Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years,” a statement from the series read, per the BBC, “and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today’s very sad news.”
Author Roxie Nafousi also reflected on her friendship with Jake, praising him as “such a sweet soul” in a comment left under his last Instagram post.
“I know things weren’t always easy for you but you never gave up and you really loved your little girl more than anything in the world,” she continued. “This is so devastating. Keep dancing up in heaven.”
