Jordon Hudson Says Kentucky Derby Isn’t First Time She & Bill Belichick Have “Trudged Through Mud”
Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson aren’t letting the neigh-sayers get them down.
Indeed, the couple proved they’re stronger than ever as they stepped out together in color-coordinating outfits at the 2026 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on May 1, walking hand-in-hand through the muddy racetrack.
Jordon, 25, donned a blue and pink floral-printed strapless midi dress, and accessorized the look with a pink fascinator, heels and clutch, while Bill, 74, wore a matching pastel blue jacket, pink shirt and tie, paired with navy trousers.
While sharing photos of the pair’s race day look on Instagram, Jordon took the moment to highlight how she and Bill have navigated tough times together. The former Bridgewater State University cheerleader seemingly referenced the ongoing criticism of her and the University of North Carolina football coach’s age gap, captioning the May 2 post, “Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together.”
And the couple’s coordinated fashion moment wasn’t the only matching look they rocked at the Derby. Bill and Jordon traded bright colors for a spin on classic black when they hit the red carpet on race day May 2. The former New England Patriots coach wore a black suit, while his girlfriend stunned in a gauzy one-shouldered black gown, styled with multiple edgy leather belts at the waist.
Meanwhile, Jordon appearing to address criticism in her latest post isn’t anything new, as the cheerleader has previously hit back at haters over her and Bill’s nearly 50-year age gap.

In fact, Jordon—who first met Bill in 2021—kicked off the new year in January by resharing a cryptic message from the duo’s 2025 celebration the year prior.
“Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’; yet, somehow everything changed,” the 2025 post read, which she reshared to her Instagram Stories Jan 1. “Fourth calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025.”
The 25-year-old concluded her message by taking aim at critics, writing, “Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”

In celebrating of their “meetiversary” in February 2025, the cosmetology school graduate revealed she first crossed paths with the former New England Patriots head coach four years prior when he signed her copy of Deductive Logic, a textbook written by Harvard University professor Warren Goldfarb.
“Cheers,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the signed book, “to the fact that you still let me give you lengthy philosophical lectures four years later.”
And on the inner cover of the textbook, Belichick had written, “Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!”

In her social media post celebrating the football legend’s 73rd birthday, Jordon made a subtle reference to the Jennifer’s Body actress and “Home” singer’s relationship—despite the pair having split up just a few months prior.
“Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my twin flame,” Jordon wrote on Instagram, referencing the nickname Megan used in 2020 to reference then-partner MGK.

Jordon Hudson Shut Down Relationship Question During Interview
After the former General Manager of the New England Patriots addressed his relationship with his girlfriend in an interview, the sit-down quickly went awry when the former Bridgewater State University cheerleader interjected.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks,” Bill told CBS Sunday Morning in an April 2025 interview. “Just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what’s right.”
But before he could answer any more questions, Jordon changed the subject with a firm, “Not talking about this.”

Days after the former cheerleader interrupted Bill’s interview to shut down questions about their relationship, the former coach’s daughter-in-law Jen Belichick expressed her disapproval—though comedian Nikki Glaser had defended her actions.
“She was jumping into that conversation during the interview,” Nikki said in a May 2025 episode of Dudes on Dudes with Gronk and Jules podcast, “just like any PR person would jump in when there’s an unnecessary question.”
But Jen argued that, unlike Jordon, “publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview.”

Jordon Hudson Was Rumored to Be Banned From UNC Football Facilities
In May 2025, ESPN’s Pablo Torre revealed on his podcast, Pablo Torre Finds Out, that Bill Belichick’s girlfriend had been banned from the University of North Carolina’s football building and football field.
But later that same day, Pablo’s claims were debunked.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” Carolina Athletics wrote in a statement to E! News. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”
