Dezeen Showroom: Italian brand Lodes has released its first open track system, which can hold both dedicated architectural lighting modules as well as any suspension light in the brand’s catalogue.
Lodes describes DoubleZero7 as bringing together the different languages of light – architectural, decorative and functional – in one open and adaptable system.
The system is designed to have aesthetic appeal, bringing an elegant feature into settings ranging from homes to hotels and other contract projects.
“The track runs through the space like a graphic line, creating fluid and consistent scenarios in which technical function becomes part of the decorative gesture,” said Lodes.
The DoubleZero7 system is available in three variations – Trimless Recessed, Surface or Suspended Up&Down – each suitable for different ceiling types and heights and bringing its own character.
Lodes says that the versatile and modular design can be adapted over time as needs change, and it has developed a dedicated cluster clip to allow for cluster suspensions to be included.
