North West Joins Dad Kanye West for Performance at SoFi Stadium Concert
Kanye “Ye” West is keeping it in the family.
The rapper reached a new milestone with wife Bianca Censori when he brought her on to direct his latest music video for his and Travis Scott’s song “Father,” marking her first-ever directing gig.
“As my directorial debut, it felt like a natural extension of my background in architecture and performance art,” Bianca told Architectural Digest in an interview published March 30. “Directing is not a departure for me, but a shift in medium, I’m still shaping space, bodies and emotion, its just articulated through film.”
The 31-year-old said that she wanted to capture the video—set in a church—in a single shot, “constructing a logic that could only exist within a dream, where unrelated characters, worlds and temporalities collide within one continuous space.”
“Because of this, the architecture of the set was critical,” Bianca explained. “A single frame had to hold and give structure to everything unfolding within it.”
Bianca went on to share insight into how she brought her vision to life for Kanye, who she married in 2022.
“I approached the blocking architecturally, allowing multiple scenarios to be viewed simultaneously within the same space,” she said. “Every element, line, perspective, colour and texture was composed to dissolve the boundary between reality and the surreal, creating a spatial language that mirrors the logic of dreams.”

In addition to working with Bianca, Kanye also kept the project close to home by teaming with Travis, who shares kids Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with Kylie Jenner. Meanwhile, Kanye shares kids North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, with Kylie’s sister Kim Kardashian.
“That’s my kids’ uncle,” Travis said of Ye during a 2025 interview with Complex. “That guy took me in when I was young, when I was like 19. He taught me a lot about music. And not even just ‘taught’ me, but he allowed me to experience the creation of music.”
“To create music with him, it’s what helped me grow, making a lot of beats,” the 34-year-old continued. “Whether it’s writing and collabing on music and film or clothes or whatever the f–k it is, just constantly learning.”
However, Kanye, 48, distanced himself from Travis at the time.
“Bro all this idea of uncle and brother? This ain’t no actual family,” Ye said, according to Vibe. “There’s no men who have footing in the situation. We don’t come together and actually have any control of our kids. It’s like we so concerned about being in the industry that we let our kids get indoctrinated to the industry.”

More recently, Ye seemed more open to bringing his children into the spotlight, releasing the song “Piercing on My Hand” with North in February and sharing the stage with the tween during his concert at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on April 1.

Fall 2024: Setting the Record Straight
Amid breakup rumors following comments West allegedly made about Censori’s mother—per a legal filing by a former assistant—the couple stepped out for a shopping trip in Tokyo. West and Censori appeared happy as can be, with both of them smiling and engaging in subtle PDA as they made their way around a mall in the Japanese city.

February 2025: Returning to the Red Carpet with Bang
The couple made a rare public appearance together at the 67th Grammys. On the red carpet, Censori dropped the gigantic coat she wore, revealing a nearly-nude look in a transparent dress.
After their photo moment, the duo left the venue, opting not to stay for the ceremony itself.
Following the Grammys, West shared several posts as a tribute to Censori and their night out together. “FOR CLARITY,” West wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “MY WIFE IS THE MOST GOOGLED PERSON ON THE PLANET CALLED EARTH.”
April 2025: Breakup?
West hinted at a rough patch in his marriage to the model in the song “BIANCA,” rapping, “My baby she ran away / But first she tried to get me committed / Not going to the hospital ’cause I am not sick / I just do not get it.”
But weeks after the song hit was released, he sparked reconciliation rumors when he posted photos of himself and Censori online.
