A delegation of MBA students from Columbia Business School, one of the United States’ top business schools, visited ABS-CBN recently as part of their global immersion program.

The group of MBA students and their professor, Medini Singh, came from different parts of the world including Brazil, Canada, Chile, India, the Philippines, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. They visited the ABS-CBN headquarters to gain insights into the company’s transformation from a traditional broadcast network into a global storytelling company.

The delegation was welcomed by ABS-CBN president Carlo Katigbak, head of transformation and innovation Mark Nepomuceno, head of news Francis Toral, head of corporate communications Kane Errol Choa, and ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. consultant Cid Bonilla.

The students also participated in a fireside chat with Katigbak and Nepomuceno, where they discussed ABS-CBN’s transformation journey and how the company continues to evolve in a rapidly changing global media landscape.

As part of their visit, the delegation toured the company’s studio facilities and had a photo taken in front of the iconic ABS-CBN Tower. They also joined the live studio audience of “It’s Showtime,” giving them a firsthand experience of part of the popular noontime show’s live studio audience.
