Oscars 2026 Best Dressed Celebrities: Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña & More
Cara Delevingne‘s dress for the Vanity Fair Oscars party is a work of art… literally.
The supermodel turned heads at the 2026 Oscars afterparty on March 15, wearing a striking Thom Browne Spring 2026 gown that featured painted abs and bedazzled nipples.
Indeed, the dress was anything but average as the upper half consisted of a sheer long-sleeved top decorated with black, red and white rhinestones and sequins that made out the image of a chiseled bare chest. The bottom half was more simple, featuring a long black skirt.
Cara paired the look with black stilettos and dangling diamond earrings. The 33-year-old also wore her hair in a bun with her bangs swept to the side. (For every star on the Oscars 2026 red carpet, see here.)
Cara is no stranger to rocking edgy looks. In fact, the Only Murders in the Building alum last went for a dramatic change-up last May when she attended the premiere of her film The History of Sound with jet black hair and blunt bangs.
Two years earlier, Cara unveiled another memorable transformation, trading her shoulder-length bob for a vibrant mohawk at London Fashion Week—and no color was left untouched. Her bangs were dipped in pink and her crown was spiked in neon green, while the center of her head featured a technicolored leopard print design.
The model has also been known to experiment with fashion, wearing everything from bright colors and leather ensembles to form fitting catsuits.
But for Cara, keeping that playfulness with her style is the most important thing.
“I love taking beauty risks,” she told Vogue in September 2024. “I feel like, in some ways, I’ve never grown up. I still love playing dress-up and exploring, whether that’s a character or gender, trying something on for a day can be fun.”

The Paper Towns alum also swears by one rule when it comes to fashion.
“My No. 1 style rule is if you feel good in it, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says,” she explained to ELLE UK in July 2023. “‘Cause as long as it makes you feel good, that’s the point of clothing. Screw everyone else. They don’t know about fashion because no one does.”
Cara isn’t the only star who unveiled a show-stopping look on Oscars night. Keep reading for memorable fashion moments from the big night…
