Sofia Richie Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2 With Elliot Grainge

Sofia Richie is bumping along with a new look.

The pregnant model unveiled a darker ‘do as she prepares to welcome her second baby with husband Elliot Grainge.

Sharing selfies featuring her freshly colored hair, as well as her baby bump dressed in a gray tee and matching cardigan, Sofia wrote on Instagram March 11, “Big plans.”

And while the 27-year-old opted to keep her signature middle part, she did play around with other aspects of her tresses, including subtle bangs. As her hairstylist Nicolas Flores told E! News in a statement, “We’re growing out Sofia’s bob, so we added a soft face-framing layer to the cut.”

The FLORE Los Angeles Salon owner said he also gave Sofia fringe curtain bangs to “keep the shape effortless as it evolves.”

As for the name of Sofia’s new hair shade? 

“The color is a seamless, shiny brunette we’re calling ‘caramelized brunette,'” her colorist Jess Gonzalez shared in a separate statement. “A warm brown that’s perfect for the spring seasonal transition.”

“I walked through all the different stages of my life,” she told W magazine in an October interview. “Being at home with my daughter, going out with girlfriends, working.”

In fact, Sofia—whose parents are Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander—hopes to pass on the brand to the next generation. As she told Elle that same month, “I want my daughter to look back at SRG in 20 years the way I go into my mom’s closet now.”

“To find timeless pieces that still feel amazing,” she added. “That’s how I measure success—longevity.”
