Benny Blanco Showing Off His Dirty Feet on Camera Has the Internet Crashing Out
Benny Blanco is coming clean about his personal hygiene.
After footage of his dirty feet went viral last month, the music producer—who is married to Selena Gomez—addressed online chatter about his supposed body odor, with his longtime pal Ed Sheeran even coming to his defense.
“I’m like you, though. I look like I don’t smell good,” Ed joked on the March 10 episode of Benny’s Friends Keep Secrets podcast, “but you’re the best smelling person I know.”
Benny replied, “I know! I smell good—even if I don’t shower.”
The two went on to agree that if anyone were to face backlash over their musk, it should be Benny’s podcast co-host Lil Dicky.
“That’s like a bum hole,” Ed quipped, after getting a whiff of the rapper’s bellybutton. “Can I have something that’s going to take that smell away?”
Benny added, “Mine smells just like nothing.”
As for why the soles of his feet were covered in dirt during a past episode of his podcast, sending the internet into a frenzy? “It’s the facility’s fault,” Benny explained during his Feb. 26 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “It’s not mine.”
Arguing that he has “great feet,” the “Sunset Blvd” artist continued, “Someone zoom in on my foot. Look at that. Clean foot!”
Regardless, Benny knows that one person who cherishes him head-to-toe is Selena, who he married in September after two years of dating. In fact, the Only Murders in the Building actress kissed her husband’s foot during her recent appearance on his podcast.

“You like that?” Benny teased, prompting Selena to playfully slap him and quip, “Oh, don’t make it a moment!”
Explaining how he sees the 33-year-old as an “independent woman,” Benny continued, “I use every bone in my body not to be googly eyed over her and not want to kiss her and jump her bones all the time.”
He added, “So, to watch her just kiss my toe really made my day.”

Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher
Back in July 2021, the couple sparked a conversation about bathing habits when they shared their preference on the Armchair Expert podcast. “I don’t wash my body with soap every day,” Mila shared. As for her husband, “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever,” Ashton admitted.
In January 2026, though, the That ’70s Show alum cleared the air while looking back at the rumors.
“It was the craziest thing of all time,” Ashton told People at the time. “We made a comment at one point, and people were like, ‘Does he stink? Does he smell?'”
He added, “I’m like, ‘I shower, I go to the gym, I shower.'”

“More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times,” the Donnie Darko alum told Vanity Fair in 2021. “I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
“Nope, I’m the opposite of a ‘not washing themselves’ celeb,” the Jungle Cruise star revealed in a 2021 post on X, then known as Twitter. “Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work. Shower (hot) after I get home from work. Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower.”
Dax Shepard & Kristen Bell
“We bathed our children every single night—prior to bed is like the routine,” Dax shared on The View in 2021. “And then somehow, they just started going to sleep on their own without the routine, and by George, we had to start saying, ‘Hey, when’s the last time you bathed them?'”
Added Kristen, “I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”

“Is it ok if I admit that my daughter bathing daily is a firm rule in my house?” the former Real Housewives of New York City star shared on X in 2021.”Bathing is cleansing, relaxing & helps with sleep. I have instilled in her a good hygiene routine since birth. Am I canceled for this radical approach?”

“I’m not starting any trends, I shower, trust me, I shower,” the Aquaman star told Access Hollywood in 2021. “I’m Aquaman, I’m in the f–king water, don’t worry about it. I’m Hawaiian, we got saltwater on me, we good.”

Brad Pitt
While filming Inglourious Basterds, the actor offered some unconventional hygiene tips for his costars. “He shared that when you’re sweating and don’t have time to take a shower, you just take a baby wipe and rub it under your armpits,” friend Eli Roth told People in 2009. “After a scene, Brad had to get next to me for a close-up shot, and he said, ‘Damn, you’re ripe.'” I said, ‘I didn’t have time to shower.’ He said, ‘Baby wipes, man, baby wipes.'”

Though the “Shape of You” singer admitted on a 2025 episode of Friends Keep Secrets podcast that “I look like I don’t smell good,” the truth is that he actually showers multiple times a day.
“Sometimes twice a day,” he said. “Mostly twice a day, actually.”
