March 8, 2026 – MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Global Shotokan practitioners Manila, Philippines — The Japan Karate Association (JKA) Philippines continues its mission of preserving authentic Shotokan karate with the announcement of the 3rd JKA Philippines International Gasshuku and Karate-Do Championship, scheduled on August 27–30, 2026 in Davao City, Philippines. The four-day international event is expected to bring together karate masters, instructors, and athletes from across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond.
