Actor Awards 2026: Harrison Ford Cheekily Reveals His and Calista Flockhart’s Marriage Rule

Woody Harrelson nearly investigated why the audience was so quiet.

As the True Detective alum presented Harrison Ford with the Life Achievement Award at the 2026 Actor Awards—hosted by Kristen Bell at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles March 1—he found the crowd to be a “tough” nut to crack.

“If you folks just had my view right now, I’m talking about the brightest stars in the firmament of our beloved industry,” Woody began his speech, “unfortunately, most of whom will be losers before the night’s out.”

After the audience filled with nominees like Seth Rogen, Kate Hudson and Teyana Taylor gave a tepid response, the 64-year-old added, “That didn’t go quite as… anyway.”

Regardless, Woody took another swing at getting the room to chuckle.

“People sometimes complain about actors getting awards. ‘Isn’t the life we’ve been awarded enough?’” he continued. “But in truth, 80 percent of you will get lessons in humility this evening.”

Following another round of light chuckles, the Now You See Me actor said, “Yep, OK, that’s what I expected.”

Despite the slow start, Woody found the celebrity-filled room to warm up after he purposefully mistook the “deeply beloved” Harrison for Leonardo DiCaprio

“You have more talent in your little finger than I have… in my little finger,” he shared, prompting louder laughter. “Of all the actors in the world, you’re one of them.”

Eventually, Woody got the crowd on his side as applause and chuckles abounded, especially as he recalled the beginning of his friendship with Harrison and praised him for his decades-long career of acting and activism.

But, of course, before handing his “dear buddy” his Life Achievement award, Woody had one final quip.

“I realize there is too much of me in this tribute to Harrison, but I’m an actor. What do you expect?” he said. “And I have a dual purpose to honor my friend, the esteemed living legend, Harrison Ford, and to discourage any other friend of mine asking me to do this again.”

In addition to Harrison, read on to see who else took home trophies at the 2026 Actor Awards.
