Halle Berry Says She Has “Zero “F—s” to Give in Latest Chapter of Her Life
Halle Berry is done lying in bed.
That is, faking an orgasm during sex. In fact, the Oscar winner will no longer pretend to be satisfied, bluntly sharing, “I don’t do that anymore.”
“We had to get there so that he felt good about bringing us to orgasm,” Halle said during her episode of the Sex With Emily podcast, premiering Feb. 24. “We had to say that we did it so that he would feel good about himself. Because what is that doing? That’s putting his needs before our own.”
She continued, “I’m like, ‘No, I come first like you come first to you.’ We both deserve to have this be a mutually enjoyable experience, so we both can roll over and go to sleep because we feel good—not one snoring and the other one looking at the ceiling, going, ‘What the hell?'”
But the 59-year-old doesn’t have to worry about reaching climax these days. After all, her relationship with fiancé Van Hunt has been nothing short of steamy.
“It was the first time I was madly in love before I had sex. That has never happened to me, ever,” Halle—who was previously married to David Justice, Eric Benét and Olivier Martinez—told Marie Claire in 2024. “Talk about one of those life-changing, beautiful experiences. It was magical, just magical.”
In fact, their connection is so strong that Halle—mom to daughter Nahla, 17, with ex Gabriel Aubry and son Maceo-Robert, 12, with Olivier—believes “out of the people I’ve been married to, this is the person I should have married.”
“Having gone through three divorces, I finally knew what wasn’t working and I realized I was always saying to the universe what I didn’t want,” she told Today last year. “So, guess what I did? I manifested what I didn’t want.”

The universe answered Halle’s call in 2020, when Van “showed up” in her life.
“If it didn’t come, I would have been good just to raise my kids,” she added. “After three divorces, you kind of go, ‘I’m just going to be alone,’ and I was ready to do that. I was done. I knew that if the right person didn’t show up for me, I’d be better off going at it alone.”
