Architecture practice Studio Plyš refurbished a 19th-century cottage in the Czech Republic, combining stone and timber with new elements in plywood, concrete and fibre cement.

Commenters discussed the project, with one saying “it’s a considerable improvement on the original” and another calling it “a truly exceptional project”.
