Blue Temple unveiled low-cost bamboo homes in Myanmar

In Myanmar, architecture studio Blue Temple unveiled a series of low-cost bamboo homes capable of withstanding natural disasters.

Created in collaboration with construction company Housing Now, the modular structures can each be built in just seven days for “the price of a smartphone”, according to the studio.

Popular projects this week included a self-built treehouse in a Swiss valley, a curved brick extension to Victorian house in Edinburgh and a symmetrical home for two DJs.
