San Diego combats sex trafficking with new legislation

Assembly Bill 379, co-sponsored by Mayor Todd Gloria and District Attorney Summer Stephan, will take effect on January 1, making purchasing sex a felony and giving authorities clearer authority to intervene in order to protect victims of the sex trade.
