Alix Earle Reacts to Braxton Berrios Breakup Rumors After His DWTS Absence
Alix Earle isn’t dancing on her own.
The influencer addressed speculation that she and her boyfriend Braxton Berrios—who began dating in 2023—had broken up after a fan expressed concern about the couple’s relationship status.
In a video posted on TikTok Nov. 28, Alix, 24, gave her followers a recap of her experience competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars—where she and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished in second place behind Robert Irwin and Witney Carson—prompting one social media user to inquire about her romance with the NFL wide receiver.
“Ugh I hope u and Braxton are still together,” the user wrote, to which Alix replied, “He couldn’t come bc of football.”
Indeed, Braxton’s playing schedule with the Houston Texans kept him out of the ballroom for much of the ABC series’ latest cycle, but the 30-year-old made sure to declare his support for his girlfriend throughout the competition. In fact, he submitted a pre-recorded video shown during the Nov. 25 season finale, offering her words of encouragement.
“I’ve watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows,” Braxton said in the clip. “Good luck. Have fun, babe.”
While Alix’s hard work didn’t snag her the Mirrorball trophy in the end, she certainly didn’t come away empty-handed, noting the close bond she formed with Val during their monthslong pairing.

“Being able to dance every day has been so amazing, so fulfilling and therapeutic,” she told E! News’ Will Marfuggi after the live finale, “and then having such a good best friend along the way, who constantly uplifts me and supports me every day, is just so nice.”
Alix even became emotional as she reflected on the end of her DWTS journey.
“I just can’t believe that it’s over,” she explained. “[It] went by so fast and so much adrenaline going into tonight. So when it’s all done, I feel like it just hit me like a truck just now. But it was the best night ever, and it couldn’t have gone any better.”
