Ariana Grande Reveals Wickedly Good Brunette Hair Transformation
Ariana Grande‘s style is nothing short of ozmazing.
The actress, 32, arrived to the most swankified place in New York on Nov. 17—the Wicked: For Good premiere—in pure Glinda style, wearing a light pink tulle gown on the red carpet.
Her Audrey Hepburn-esque look—featuring a black strapless corset top—was on full display as she posed alongside Cynthia Erivo, who wore a punk rock ensemble with dark shades.
This moment marks a turning point in Ariana’s career, as her Wicked experience wraps up following the journey from auditioning in 2021 to the 2025 release of the final installment of the musical adaptation. But for now, the “7 Rings” singer is still soaking up every moment immersed in the world of Oz and is looking forward to taking fans along for the rest of Glinda’s journey
“I have been quietly very eager this whole time for people to see the rest of her journey,” Ariana told The New York TImes in an interview published Nov. 5, “because she has a big arc in the first movie, and it’s just that much bigger in the second one.”
She continued to emphasized the importance of making sure she did justice to her role as the iconic good witch, explaining that she “wanted to design this person inside and out” and fully understand how to transform into Glinda and “leave my own stuff at home.”
“I don’t know that the projects I have acted in before required the range or the skill set that this one did,” she shared. “I was on children’s television and then swept away by pop music for a long time, then I landed this extraordinary role and I wanted to earn it.”

Next year, Ariana will embark on an arena tour promoting her Eternal Sunshine album, and thanks to Wicked, she feels more prepared than ever.
“I’ve never felt this connected to my art or inspired,” she emphasized, “and that’s just been such a tremendous gift.”
