Cynthia Erivo Speaks Out After Ariana Grande Fan Incident at ‘Wicked’ Premiere
Jon M. Chu‘s family is wickedly adorable.
One year after welcoming his fifth child, the Wicked director stepped out alongside his wife Kristin Hodge and their kids—Willow, 8, Jonathan Heights, 6, Ruby, 4, Iggy, 2, and Stevie Sky, 12 months—for the premiere of his new movie Wicked: For Good in New York City on Nov. 17.
For the event, John kept warm in a heather gray wool coat and black scarf, while Kristin coordinated in a black-and-white strapless gown. To complete her look, the graphic designer accessorized with a statement diamond necklace and wore her hair in a chic updo.
As for their little ones? The couple—who tied the knot in 2018—dressed their children in the sweetest matching looks. Indeed, the boys Jonathan Heights and Iggy sported teal suits with black undershirts, while girls Willow, Ruby and Stevie Sky were real-life princesses in their baby pink tulle skirts and white sweaters.
The outing marks the family of seven’s first time all together on a Wicked red carpet, since the Crazy Rich Asians director missed the premiere for the franchise’s first installment due to Kristin going into labor with their youngest.

“I can’t believe this happened while the movie is premiering,” Jon shared in a pre-recorded clip announcing the arrival of Stevie Sky during the November 2024 premiere. “Magic is in the air. Welcome to our world. You’re gonna do great. You have a lot of witches on your side.”
And the 46-year-old provided further insight into just how last-minute his absence from the first Wicked premiere was.

“I was at the hotel across the street, ready to come,” he explained. “My whole family’s there. My friends, all our loved ones are there. And I’ve waited for three years to have this moment to share our movie with you… but I’ve waited my whole life to have this moment, to have our fifth child right now.”
