SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — North City in San Marcos is hosting its first-ever Classic Car Show in November, a free event for car enthusiasts of all ages.

On Saturday, Nov. 8, more than 50 vehicles will line the streets near 250 North City Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the event, which will also feature a Classic Car Restoring Exhibit courtesy of Conservative Auto Body Shop.

Participating vehicles range from vintage classics to modern, high-end showpieces.

Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories for the best vintage cars, while attendees have the opportunity to win gift cards to local eateries in North City.

The free, family-friendly celebration will also include a Toddler Street Course with electric cars and scooters, a race course of diecast cars, and other activities for all to enjoy.

Community members can grab food and drinks from local establishments, including Buona Forchetta, Maya’s Cookies, Draft Republic and others, while listening to music played by a live DJ as they explore the neighborhood.

Proceeds made during the event will go toward a scholarship fund for student-athletes at California State University San Marcos.
