SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — For the 10th year, Pastor John Quniata with Our Father’s Grace Ministries is collecting stuffed animals for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Pastor Quinata says this all started as an idea when his daughter was around 4 years old. From there, it became a project for a class he was teaching of middle schoolers.

“Like the scripture says, plant a seed and watch it grow,” said Quinata.

They have collected hundreds of stuffed animals over the years, growing beyond what Pastor Quinata ever thought was possible.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the organization will be collecting new stuffed animals from 9-11a.m. at 6767 51st St. in San Diego.

Quinata encourages people to come out and donate, volunteer and meet him.
