NORTH PARK, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI)– San Diegans are in store for a treat of tapouts and grappling as Tuff-N-Uff makes its return to America’s Finest City on Friday with a 14-bout card of Mixed Martial Arts madness.

Known as the premier developmental Mixed Martial Arts promotion, Tuff-N-Uff will be swinging into The Observatory in North Park on Sept. 26 with amateur bouts starting at 5 p.m. and the main card slated for 7 p.m.

For the main event, Israel’s Shimon “The Assassin” Smotritsky (11-4) will go toe-to-toe with Troy “The Ghost” Green (7-4) in the 175-pound catchweight division.

Smotritsky was on Dana White’s Contender Series, winning two out of his three fights on the show.

The rest of the card includes several up-and-coming fighters who call San Diego their home.

Tickets for the event start at $60 and can be purchased here.

Tuff-N-Uff has been recognized as the top pipeline for MMA fighters on the rise and has partnerships with UFC Fight Pass. Notable Tuff-N-Uff veterans include Ronda Rousey and featherweight Muhammad Naimov.
