SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The Interstate 15 and State Route 163 southbound connector was closed for several hours Saturday afternoon after one person died in a crash.
Police found one person with critical injuries at I-15 south and SR-163 around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the CHP Traffic Incidents page, which is reporting the crash was fatal and involved a motorcycle. It is unclear if any other vehicles were involved at this time.
All lanes of the I-15 southbound connector to SR-163 were blocked due to the traffic collision for nearly three hours and reopened to traffic just after 6 p.m., according to Caltrans.
