Why Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Hasn’t Changed Last Name After Kody Brown Breakup
Seeking Sister Wife is making room for some new additions.
As Nick Davis and his wives, April Davis and Jennifer Davis, return for season six of the TLC reality series, they’re joined by his new girlfriend Teresa, a longtime friend whose relationship with the family patriarch eventually evolved into romance.
In a teaser video posted on the network’s TikTok page Sept. 18, Teresa explained what attracted her to Nick, saying, “I love his love for himself, for his family, for his wives.”
And that’s not all Teresa was intrigued by.
“I love the way Nick smells,” she shared. “I love his creamy body.”
But while the newest member of the fold appeared to still be in the honeymoon phase of her new relationship, the teaser hinted that Nick may be struggling with his new family dynamic.
“When you and I made love, I knew you were the last person I would ever make love to,” Teresa said, to which Nick replied with a tentative, “Umm…”
Teresa isn’t the only new member of the Davis family. In May, the clan expanded once again as Jennifer gave birth to daughter Charlene “Charlie” Vontessa Davis, now 3 months, who has already proven to be a welcome addition to their home.

“She smiles constantly, though she also has the cutest thoughtful expressions,” Jennifer told People in an interview published Sept. 16. “I’m so thankful to have had a healthy pregnancy and a smooth natural birth.”
And the little one is already being doted on by her siblings William, 18, from April’s previous relationship, and Vera, 3, whom Jennifer gave birth to in 2022.
“William and Vera have both embraced their new baby sister, Charlene, with so much love,” April told the outlet. “Watching the two of them with her has been so heartwarming. It’s such a joy to see the special bond they’re already building together.”

Yessel and Dani Peralta have been married for nearly five years and have two small boys, plus two kids from Yessel’s previous relationships. Dani is a nurse, and Yessel travels for long periods of time for work, a dynamic that inspired the couple to consider bringing in a sister wife to help support their family when Dani is home alone. With a busy household and demanding careers, Yessel and Dani are re-evaluating their relationship after a previous attempt at plural marriage nearly cost them everything. Dani, who admits to feelings of jealousy, wants to be cautious and lay down some boundaries in order to feel comfortable seeking again.

After previous heartbreaks with Roberta and Nathalia, both Brazilian women, Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield are once again opening their hearts to a potential sister wife. Lorrana, also Brazilian, has arrived on a K1 visa, giving the couple just 90 days to get married. As the clock ticks, Lorrana must navigate adjusting to life in rural Colorado, while the Merrifield’s confront whether the third time truly is the charm.

The Johnson Family (New) – Providence, RI
Matt and Anjelica Johnson, long time polygamists with two young children, have been in a three-year relationship with Shanay, who has become Anjelica’s best friend. They enjoy evenings away from the kids and dish on Matt, but lately Shanay is not satisfied with the time she and Matt spend together. After three years, she wants more and the trio must face a pivotal moment in defining their future.
