Makati City, Philippines – September 19, 2025 – The Philippines is set to make a historic move toward green mobility with the upcoming purchase of 4,000 brand-new electric vehicles through a landmark partnership with Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. of India.

The rollout, currently being scheduled in phases, marks a significant milestone in the country’s shift to cleaner, more sustainable transport. “This is more than just a business deal—it’s a step toward cleaner air, lower emissions, and affordable electric transport for Filipino communities,” said Noubikko P. Ulanday, CEO of RPConnect.

Under the agreement, a USD 30.6 million order has been placed with Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. for the supply of 4,000 electric vehicles to the Philippines. The fleet will include 3,500 E-Trikes (a passenger and cargo mix), 500 Mihos electric scooters, and 500 1.5-ton electric light commercial vehicles (mini trucks).

“This strategic collaboration underscores our commitment to sustainable mobility and our vision of shaping the future of clean transportation in the Philippines,” Ulanday added.
