Is Matthew McConaughey Starring in ‘Barbie’ Sequel? Margot Robbie Says…

Margot Robbie loves a big, bold, beautiful snack.

And while filming her new romantic drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey alongside Colin Farrell, the actress was introduced to a European delicacy that quickly earned a place in her heart—and her stomach.

“We had a rehearsal period,” Colin explained during a joint appearance with Margot on the Sept. 16 episode of Today. “A lot of that was just banter—just talking about our past—and I was talking about crisp sandwiches, which she calls ‘chippy sandwiches.’ So, I made her one.”

As the 49-year-old recalled, Margot, 35, grew so fond of the crunchy snack—a staple in Ireland and the U.K. consisting of potato chips and butter on white bread—that he personally made sure she always got her fix on set.

“I brought one in for her every morning,” he continued. “That was my job, every night, was to make her a sandwich.”

During the interview, Today co-anchor Craig Melvin surprised the pair with freshly-made crisp sandwiches—and the dish was so spot-on that Colin couldn’t help but let out an expletive live on air.

“Is that Tayto?” he asked mid-bite, referring to the Irish potato chip brand. “It is! I f–king knew it!”

In response, a stunned Margot immediately scolded her costar through barely-contained laughter, though Colin did his best to downplay the gaffe.

“It was a full mouth, they didn’t hear me,” he insisted, before turning his attention back to the sandwich. “I knew it was Tayto. This is actually very good.”

Indeed, even Margot had to admit the sandwich hit the spot.

“I haven’t had breakfast yet,” she shared. “This is perfect.”

Margot and Colin aren’t the only stars who’ve shared their culinary guilty pleasures. Keep reading for more on celebrities’ go-to snacks…

“I am snacking so much while I’ve been at home! I think it’s because I’m home and near my fridge all day. I slice up an apple and it fills me up between meals. I love the satisfying crunch and so do my kids.”

“My go-to snack is canned oysters. I know that might sound weird, but I am absolutely obsessed with canned oysters. They are such a good source of protein, magnesium and vitamin C. They are so tasty and always fill me up. I eat them straight out of the can, but sometimes if I want some extra carbs, I’ll eat them with crackers and the crunch of the cracker with the soft oyster is so good!”

“Avocado with salt. It’s the right amount of indulgent with being super easy to make. If I have more time I’ll add a poached egg with a smidge of hot sauce from Big Reds.”

“Apples and peanut butter but not just your average apples and peanut butter, folks. There is a science to this special snack. First, they have to be honeycrisp apples, cut very thin. Then you get your peanut butter, melt it, add some honey and stir all the deliciousness together! This creates almost like a caramel consistency. You don’t use nearly as much peanut butter and you avoid getting it on your thumb every time you dip. Brilliant, I know!”

“My go-to snack at the moment is going to sound so strange: I like to take a flour tortilla with salted butter melted in a pan and then I top it with Nutella. I know it’s weird! LOL, it’s honestly like an easier version of a crêpe and that’s why I love it.”
