SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities on Wednesday issued a Feather Alert for a missing 17-year-old girl in Pala.

Sunnie Eagleton was last seen Saturday around 2 p.m. at Chavez Circle and Michac Lane within the Pala Indian Reservation in San Diego County, the California Highway Patrol posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 7:23 p.m.

Eagleton, who is believed to be on foot, stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds, according to law enforcement. She was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts with a black and pink backpack.

CHP defines a Feather Alert as “a resource available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of an indigenous woman or indigenous person.”

If anyone sees Eagleton, they are asked to call 911.
