Sarah Jessica Parker Makes Rare Comments About Bond With 16-Year-Old Twin Daughters
Sarah Jessica Parker doesn’t have any blues with her teens.
In fact, the And Just Like That star loves learning from her and Matthew Broderick’s 16-year-old daughters Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick.
“I feel like there is an unfair idea about teenage twin girls,” Sarah Jessica said during an appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends. “I find mine really likeable. I’m really fond of mine.”
“I really love their company,” she added. “They’re so interesting. It’s like you’re constantly in a control study, cause you have one of this type, and one of this type and they go to the same school. They’re just really interesting. They’re generally speaking, really kind, curious.”
Indeed, Sarah Jessica—who also shares son James Wilkie, 22, with Matthew—shared that one of her daughters picked up her favorite pastime.
“One of them is a crazy reader,” she gushed. “It’s just the greatest.”
And when it comes to her love of shoes, SJP admitted that Marion and Tabitha won’t be walking a mile in her Manolo Blahniks.
“No,” she said when asked if Marion and Tabitha are pulling style inspiration. “One of them, their feet don’t fit the shoes.”
Tabitha and Marion made their last public appearance alongside their parents in April. The twins showed off their individual style as they walked the carpet during the premiere of Broadway’s Smash. Tabitha wore a green gown and a turquoise jacket, while Marion opted for a black lace covered dress and cream-colored coat.

And while Sarah and Matthew—who have been married since 1997—have a house full, being an empty nester isn’t far from the Sex and the City alum’s mind.
“The idea of leisure is pretty amazing to think about,” she said on the July 7 episode of MSNBC’s The Best People with Nicolle Wallace. “But I’m not overly eager for it, because I don’t want it until I know that my children are pursuing their next stage of life in their academic careers. When they go to college, I can think about traveling in September.”
