A bicyclist was killed in a crash Monday with a northbound MTS trolley in Chula Vista, transit officials confirmed.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A bicyclist was killed in a crash Monday with a northbound MTS trolley in Chula Vista, transit officials confirmed.

A call came in about the incident around 12:44 p.m. at Moss Street grade crossing.

Trolley service on the UC San Diego Blue Line did experience some delays because of the collision, but it has since resumed normal operations, according to the MTS.

The incident is being investigated as an accident.

No other details have been released at this time.
