Comedy Icon Roderick Paulate is Back with New Feature Comedy Mudrasta

Roderick Paulate has long mastered the art of making Filipinos laugh, and in Mudrasta, a CreaZion Studios release, and from the makers of Patay Na Si Jesus and Deadma Walking, you’re in for a story that’s both hilarious and may “puso”!

Directed by Julius Ruslin Alfonso, the director behind MMFF movie Deadma Walking, this heartwarming family-comedy film is headlined by the iconic Roderick Paulate and features an all-star ensemble cast including Tonton Gutierrez, Elmo Magalona, Carmi Martin, Awra Briguela, Arkin Magalona, Ruby Ruiz, Joel Saracho, Sunshine Teodoro, Debbie Garcia, Odette Khan, and Ms. Celia Rodriguez. The newly released trailer introduces us to Victor “Beki” Labrador (Paulate), who reconnects with a past love, Enrique Santillanes (Gutierrez), only to discover Enrique has passed away, leaving him half of his estate, and a stake in the family business. However, there’s one condition: Beki must move into the Santillanes’ mansion and live with Enrique’s two orphaned children (Elmo and Arkin Magalona) and their stern grandmother (Celia Rodriguez). What follows is a heartfelt and funny journey as Beki confronts the past and tries to win over a family that wants nothing to do with him.
