Duck Dynasty Star Sadie Robertson Gives Update On Pregnancy After Health Scare
Sadie Robertson and husband Christian Huff are recounting a scary moment for their family.
The couple—who share Haven Belle, 2, and Honey James, 4—revealed on the July 22 episode of their WHOA That’s Good podcast that they were robbed during a recent trip to Atlanta, which they labeled their “last vacation” before welcoming their third child together.
Sadie, who announced her pregnancy back in February, recalled being “a little late” to the airport to fly to Atlanta and Haven getting “the biggest nosebleed” on their flight before the family of four stopped into a restaurant to “just take a breath” after “a stressful couple of hours.”
As the Duck Dynasty star noted, “Obviously, that didn’t really go as planned,” and the family got back to their rental car to find its windows “completely busted in” with their backpacks stolen from inside.
“It’s so sad too because we had our car seats and strollers and diaper bag,” Sadie shared. “Of course, they didn’t steal any of that, which I’m thankful for, but I’m like, that’s so low. You know you’re stealing from a family with kids.”
The 28-year-old went on detail what the thieves got away with by taking their backpacks, which “had a lot of important things in there, including all of our family’s passports…they stole his actual license, all of Christian’s credit cards, they stole his Bible that he’s had forever.”
At the end of the day, it was her daughters who the mother of two couldn’t stop thinking about when it came to the violating ordeal.
“I just hate to think about them seeing Honey and Haven’s little faces on that passport,” Sadie said. “It just makes me so mad!”

“The girls were scared,” she added. “Honey was very scared because she was like, ‘Bad guys broke our windows and took Daddy’s stuff?’ She was so worried about Daddy’s stuff…It was so sad. We just had to talk to her a lot about why someone would do that.”
Sadie and Christian were also able to use the robbery as a learning lesson for their two young daughters and connect it back to their Christian faith, with Sadie calling the experience “an opportunity to show her our faith and what we believe about God and for us to be steady.”
She added, “I think if it wouldn’t have been for the kids, I would have been a lot more scared.”
As Christian, 27, pointed out, though, she was “being strong for them.”
The fitness coach also said that they “prayed that the fear of God would fall upon” whoever had broken into their car, with Sadie adding that she also prayed that the criminals “would be vomiting” over their guilt for what they did.
“I prayed it would lead them to repentance,” she explained, “and they would open Christian’s Bible and start reading it and feel the fear of the Lord.”

Having just gotten back from Australia, she left for a party without unpacking. However, when she returned, “I was like, ‘Am I losing my mind? My suitcase is gone, my laptop. Many of the members went on to serve time in prison or probation and community service. Lee, the alleged ringleader, served a year and a half in state prison out of her four year sentence. Prugo served a year in prison, while Haines served 30 days in prison. Ames was sentenced to three years of probation and two months of community service. Tamayo was sentenced to probation and two months of community service. Similarly, Lopez Jr. was sentenced to three years of supervised probation. Ajar was sentenced to three years in prison, but ended up serving one.
