ABS&CBN Stars Honored as Box Office Heroes at the 8th Eddys

Five of ABS-CBN’s biggest stars were hailed Box Office Heroes by the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) at the 8th EDDYS (Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards) for their record-breaking movies and contributions to Philippine cinema.

Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards were named Box Office Heroes for “Hello, Love, Again,” the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.

The Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda also nabbed the same honor for the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival blockbuster movie “And the Breadwinner Is…”

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were also this year’s Box Office Heroes for “JoshLia’s” comeback film “Un/happy for You.”

The EDDYS is SPEEd’s annual awarding ceremony that recognizes outstanding craftsmen, actors, writers, directors, workers, and producers in the film industry.
