Allison Holker Was an “Almond Mom” to Daughter Weslie
Allison Holker is dancing into a new chapter.
The So You Think You Can Dance alum—who was married to dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss from 2013 until his death in 2022—shared that she is engaged to tech exec Adam Edmunds after debuting their relationship in September 2024.
“We’re ENGAGED!” she wrote on Instagram Feb. 12. “It was the most romantic night of my life!”
Holker revealed that Edmunds pulled off the proposal during a party to celebrate her 38th birthday on Feb. 6.
“You surprised me with a surprise birthday party and then surprised me and all our guests at the party with a surprise proposal party,” she shared. “The whole night was magic and you had every detail thought out to make it even more special.”
Indeed, the Dancing With the Stars alum—who shared kids Weslie, 17, Maddox, 9, and Zaia, 5, with Boss—celebrated with friends and family after he got down on one knee on a bed of red rose petals. And the bash, planned by Troy Williams of Simply Troy Events, also included a live performance by Clinton Kane, who sang the couple’s favorite song “I Guess I’m in Love.”
“I am so in love with you Adam. Baby, I am forever grateful for you and the impact you have had in my life and my kids lives,” she continued in her post. “I am a better person because of you. You helped me find me again and showed me how to love. Every morning I wake up I feel safe knowing you are My person at my side. You and your kids coming into our lives has been the biggest blessing.”
And while there’s still time before they head down the aisle, Holker went on to make a vow to her future husband, saying, “Adam, I will always support you, hold you and love you! You are my everything Adam.”

Indeed, Edmunds has been a bright spot in Holker’s life after Boss—who served as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show beginning in 2012—died by suicide in 2022.
And while grief has been challenging for their family, Holker has continued to honor her husband’s legacy over the years. To mark the third anniversary of his passing in December, Holker shared a montage of the pair dancing together and photos of them embracing their children.
“We honor you and cherish all of our beautiful memories with you. We loved laughing, creating and dancing. We will love you forever,” she wrote on Instagram. “Saw some beautiful posts yesterday as we lead up to the day. Thank you for your endless love and support. It means the world to me and my kids.”

It’s a beautiful cycle.”
