Why Taylor Swift Has Never Headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show
Kayla Nicole still has some bad blood when it comes to ex Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance.
And the influencer subtly shaded the Kansas City Chiefs player and Grammy winner in a Super Bowl 2026 ad for Sleeper, which also starred Ben Simmons and Tiffany Haddish, Offset and more.
“Don’t get me started on these two,” Kayla joked in the ad, which aired as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks faced off. “They’ve got no idea what they’re doing. At all.”
Indeed, while Ben and Tiffany were promoting their service that helped you get “ex-communicated” from your ex after a bad break up, the 34-year-old claimed they weren’t doing their job well.
“Simmons and Haddish promised me that they could put an end to this whole ‘ex-girlfriend’ fiasco quickly,” Kayla reasoned, to which Ben interjected, “That doesn’t sound like what I said.”
So Kayla—who dated Travis from 2017 to 2022—corrected, “Rapidly.”
To which Ben answered, “That’s not what I said.”
“Okay, pronto,” Kayla continued, which Ben finally admitted, “I said swiftly! Why is that so hard to remember?”
This isn’t the first time Kayla has addressed her issue with being Travis’ last ex before his relationship, and later engagement, to Taylor.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just online chaos doesn’t impact me,” Kayla admitted during an appearance on the Unapologetically Angel podcast in 2024. “It does. Even to this day.”

As she put it, “You could go to my most recent post and it’ll be people debating why I’m worthless and how I’ll never be a talented person.”
And she’s tried to stay away from being roped into Travis’ new love life. When asked if she had thoughts about Taylor and Travis’ August engagement, Kayla told The Daily Mail, “Oh, no, no, no.”
Meanwhile, Kayla is trying to make room for new romance.
“I love a very honest man,” she said in what she looks for in a potential partner. “A man of really great character. Someone who likes to have fun. Spontaneous, great relationship with their family, has really good girlfriends. The list is long!”
