Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara Welcome Baby No. 3 Via Surrogate

Meghan Trainor is all about her new baby.

The “All About That Bass” singer shared that she and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed a baby girl via surrogate on Jan. 18.

“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post Jan. 20. “We are over the moon in love with this precious girl.”

Meghan and the Spy Kids alum—who married in 2018—went on to thank the medical team that helped with the arrival of their third child.

“We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible,” they continued. “We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.”

As for their sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 2? They’re just as over the moon about their new sister—and even helped pick her moniker to prove it.

“Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name,” the couple added. “We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all.”

And the 32-year-old, who previously shared her desire to have four kids, has been candid about her motherhood journey.

“I get asked in every single interview, ‘You just do it all! You tour, you have your whole career, you have the perfect family, an amazing life, and you always seem happy. How do you do it?!'” she told Today in 2025. “And I always answer: ‘Therapy, my antidepressants and my entire team.'”

But being pregnant has been one of the hardest parts of her journey. In fact, Meghan said her therapist diagnosed her with post-traumatic stress disorder after Riley “didn’t wake up” during his birth in 2021, prompting him to be hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit. The experience, according to Meghan, led her to question what she could do differently for baby No. 2 in 2023.

“Being a parent isn’t easy—especially not today,” she shared. “And yet, being a mom is my favorite thing in the world. Parents just need more support. I want four kids and I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but I know that’s what my heart really wants, so I’m going to figure it out with my team of soldiers and angels around me. We will find a way.”

Indeed, the “Dear Future Husband” singer credits her loved ones with helping her heal.

“I am blessed to be in this situation,” she said. “I have an incredible nanny who’s here Monday through Friday. My mother lives down the street from me and is always there for me. My husband is also so supportive. My managers and my team are my family—they’re at my house all the time and making sure my schedule is kids-first, then work. And I have incredible doctors.”
