Why Khloe Kardashian Hasn’t Slept With the Lights Off in 7 Years
Khloe Kardashian is hot for a teacher.
The Kardashians star seemed to be feeling flirty when she commented on the Instagram account of Jacob Myers-Norys, a high school math and biology teacher from Santa Cruz, Calif.
Jacob—who has amassed a following on Instagram and TikTok with his fun teaching videos—shared a video of himself to Instagram Dec. 5, listing out various facts about himself including that he has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, has Italian roots, is a former college athlete and that he likes to cook.
Jacob captioned the video, “Somewhere out there is the woman who’s gonna ask how my school day was.”
And it turns out that woman was none other than Khloe herself, who commented, “How was your day??”
Jacob responded to her in the comments, “Mine is great now. How was yours?”
Khloe kept the conversation going, writing, “Mine is great too.”
And fans were delighted by the interaction, with one joking, “Yes girl! Get your Italian stallion.”
Another added, “Shoot your shot Ms. Khloe!”
Even Khloe’s best friend Malika Haqq jumped in on the fun, praising her pal and writing, “Isn’t she the sweetest.”
But the Good American founder—who shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with ex Tristan Thompson—wasn’t the only one to shoot her shot, as Jacob responded once more asking her to check her DMs and even posted a follow up video about their now viral interaction, hoping to get Khloe’s attention.
“My entire town knows about it,” he said in the Dec. 9 video. “My students keep bugging me about it and my family group chat’s just been nonstop.”
“This Saturday I have a staff holiday party,” he added, “and I would absolutely love if you came as my date.”
But Jacob has a backup plan if that doesn’t work out, joking he’d love to be invited by Kris Jenner to their family’s annual holiday party.
“In all seriousness, I’m gonna be in Southern California during winter break,” he continued, “and I would absolutely love to hear how the rest of your day went.”

While it remains to be seen how Khloe responds, the 41-year-old has been incredibly candid about her love life in recent months, sharing that she’s been celibate since her breakup from Tristan in 2021.
“I’m mortified that it’s even my truth,” she admitted to Elle in November. “This December will be four years. I get a little embarrassed. I’m like, ‘This is so pathetic,’ but once you get to a certain place, you think, ‘No, this is so special.’”
Plus, Khloe feels that dating would take on an entirely different form now that she’s a mom.
“I’ve never dated with children before and that’s such a serious factor to me,” she noted. “Once I really was working on myself, I didn’t have the energy to date anyone else. Now, no one is even worth my time. My kids are my priority. Other than that, I want to lie in bed and watch TV if I have free time and I don’t want to share it with someone else.”
