Vanessa Hudgens Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby No. 2 With Cole Tucker
It’s the start of something new for Vanessa Hudgens.
The Disney alum is now enjoying life as a family of four after giving birth and welcoming her second baby with husband Cole Tucker, 29, she confirmed in a social media post Nov. 29.
“Well…. I did it. Had another baby!!!” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself in her hospital bed, holding hands with the MLB star. “What a wild ride labor is. Big shout out to all the moms. It’s truly incredible what our bodies can do.”
The exciting news comes after the High School Musical star shared her pregnancy in a July 12 Instagram post that featured a maternity shoot, writing in the caption, “Round two.” The photos featured both Vanessa and Cole in white ensembles as they posed together, pointing at Vanessa’s growing baby bump.
The couple—who tied the knot in Mexico in December 2023 after going Instagram official in February 2021—expanded their family last year with the birth of their first baby, whose name and sex have been kept private.
And while her kids are still young, Vanessa already knows her game plan for introducing them to her filmography. In fact, that idea has guided her professional choices.
“I’ll show my kids all my work,” she told E! News in May 2024. “That’s why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age.”
Indeed, that includes the two projects—season 11 of The Masked Singer and Bad Boys: Ride or Die—which she filmed while pregnant with her oldest.
“It’s really cute,” she said of the experience. “I’m like, ‘I have a little action baby.’”
As for how her little action star has changed her outlook on life?
“The older that I get, the more practical I get,” she told E! News in November 2024. “Life is chaotic and hectic. I don’t need to make it any more stressful than it needs to be.”

And the Sucker Punch actress has always prioritized destressing, having met her now-husband in a group meditation call during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I was literally on the Zoom with my girlfriend, and I started hitting her asking who he was, and she had never seen him before,” she told Vogue in December 2023. “So, I proceeded to look on the Zoom square to find out his name and found him on Instagram—and he sent a DM the next day.”
