Hailey Bieber Gets Honest About Her Cosmetic Procedures

When it comes to her beauty regimen, Hailey Bieber is well-versed in putting on a brave face.

In pursuit of her signature glowing skin, the Rhode Skin founder gamely submits to laser treatments several times a year and procedures like Platelet-Rich Plasma that involve using her own blood platelets to stimulate collagen. 

“I like to do things that I can trust is from your own body,” she explained to Owen Thiele on the Oct. 24 episode of his In Your Dreams podcast. “I’m just consistent with things like that.” 

She’s also stayed true to one hard and fast rule. 

“I made a commitment to myself that I wasn’t going to do any Botox until I was in my 30s,” she continued. But with her mom Kennya Baldwin never giving the popular injectable a shot and still looking “insane,” Hailey noted, “When I get there I’ll see if I even want to do it.”

The tastiest morsels have been the key to her trademark glazed donut skin because she knows firsthand how tough it can be to find the right recipe for your visage.

“I remember being a teenager and [having] too many actives on the skin, thinking that is going to be the solution,” she recalled in a 2023 episode of Dear Media’s Breaking Beauty podcast, noting that, instead, it caused irritation, redness and peeling. “The way it’s changed for me is my approach. I’ve found more of a balance in how I treat my skin for the various phases and stages it’s going through.”

Now, her morning routine involves cleansing (only if she’s exfoliated the night before), “Then, I love to use a hydrating toner or essence to get the skin ready to absorb the products,” she explained, before namechecking some of her go-to Rhode picks. “I can’t go without the Peptide Glazing Fluid. If I’m feeling more dry, I’ll also put the Barrier Restore Cream and then sunscreen on top.”

The Glazing Milk is a must (used for makeup prep or to thin out her foundation for a more sheer look, it gives her “this really beautiful, luminous second skin kind of look”) followed by a hydrating sunscreen. (She gravitates towards the brands she finds in European pharmacies, tending to stock up whenever she’s in Paris.) 

Then she’ll dab on the “tiniest bit of” Make Beauty’s Skin Mimetic Concealer to brighten the area around her nose, eyes and mouth, some Anastatsia Beverly Hills eyebrow gel, Rhode’s pocket blush (tapped on with her fingers), Tarte’s freckle stamp (“I feel like enhancing your freckles gives, like, a youthfulness to your skin”) and finally a swipe of her peptide lip contour.

One of her most beloved products, they’re meant to provide a slightly elevated everyday vibe, she noted, “just enhancing the natural lip, giving a little bit more fullness and volume to the lip.”
