Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Won’t Attend CMA Awards 2025

Morgan Evans is rolling out the red carpet for his new romance.

Nearly three years after he finalized his divorce from Kelsea Ballerini, the “Kiss Somebody” singer stepped out for the 2025 CMA Awards alongside his girlfriend Laci Kaye Booth, marking their first time on the red carpet together. (For every star who made an appearance at the CMAs, click here.)

For the Nov. 19 event hosted by Lainey Wilson, Morgan rocked a silk white blouse and black trousers with a leather jacket. And to finish off his look, he left the top three buttons of his shirt undone to show off his black beaded necklace.

Meanwhile, Lacy—who hard-launched her relationship with Morgan in May while performing on stage at The Vineyard Goes Country festival—stunned in a red lace gown with a high slit and matching fingerless gloves. Completing her ensemble, the American Idol alum opted for eye-popping diamond jewelry and styled her red hair in long, tight curls.

And Morgan, 40, and Lacy, 29, weren’t shy with their PDA at the annual awards ceremony, with the couple sharing a sweet kiss on the iconic velvet rug.

As for who else was in attendance at the big night in country music? Among the guests was Kelsea—nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year—who Morgan split from in August 2022 following five years of marriage.

And while the exes have both moved on in their dating lives, it’s no surprise they didn’t pose together for any photos.

After all, Kelsea—who has since been linked to Outer Banks star Chase Stokes—previously revealed that she and Morgan lost contact after sharing an “honest “conversation before publicly announcing their split.

“I was like, ‘I’ve loved what this has brought in my life and I respect you and I respect me and because of that, I can no longer be in this marriage,'” Kelsea recalled of their talk during a 2023 appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “‘I really wanna, like, honor the good that we’ve experienced by doing this the right way.’ And it was beautiful. We cried. We hugged, it was sweet.”

However, that mutual understanding didn’t last. As Kelsea admitted at the time, “I haven’t talked to him since.”

“After that conversation obviously you lawyer up and you tell your team and you get your people and everything kind of just shifted,” she added. “I’m at peace with it now.”
