Kim Kardashian Shares BTS Footage of Bar Prep After Revealing She Failed Legal Exam
Kim Kardashian is shedding light on her academic highs and lows.
One week after the Kardashians star revealed that she failed the bar exam, she shared a behind-the-scenes look at her intense study sessions leading up to the test.
Two weeks before the big day, Kim, 45, was optimistic about her chances of passing the bar, even as a back injury set in at “the worst [time] in the whole wide world.” She also dismissed critics who questioned her legal training methods.
“I don’t really care about stuff like that,” Kim said in the Nov. 16 Instagram video. “They don’t know, and they aren’t on my journey. And I don’t even care for them to be.”
But hours later, the SKIMS founder admitted that the pressure of adequately preparing to write the exam was getting to her.
“I’m gonna film this because I’m so tired,” Kim said tearfully as she tied her hair. “Every time I feel like I’m a step ahead, something happens to try to stop me from doing this. And part of me wants to stop. I feel like my brain’s gonna explode, and I still have so much more to go.”
Still, Kim managed to power through her exhaustion, regaining her confidence as the exam approached.
“I feel really good,” she said the day before writing the test. “I feel prepared, and that’s the best feeling.”

While the entrepreneur’s efforts ultimately weren’t enough to pass the exam this time, she assured fans she’s not done chasing her goal of being a lawyer.
“Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories Nov. 8. “No shortcuts, no giving up—just more studying and even more determination.”
From reality star to businesswoman to aspiring legal eagle, Kim has worn many hats throughout her career. Keep reading to see her evolution over the years…
