DWTS’ Jen Affleck Hints at Beef With Mormon Wives Costar Whitney Leavitt After Elimination
Jessi Ngatikaura‘s secret is out.
After facing rumors she had cheated on husband Jordan Ngatikaura, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star confirmed on the third season of the Hulu series that she did have an emotional affair with Vanderpump Villa‘s Marciano Brunette amid a rough patch in her marriage.
However, according to the MomToker, she and Jordan—with whom she shares kids Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 2—”both made mistakes for sure.”
“Mine being the affair and his being the emotional abuse, but I think it takes two to tango,” she told People in an interview published Nov. 13. “And having that toxic dynamic definitely got me into the mindset of where I was and why I did what I did.”
Jessi continued, “I wish I never had, and I hope Jordan feels the same about how he treated me for a while. But yes, it took both of us to get there. I think having it come out publicly was a good wake-up call for us because it got us help.”
And Jordan—who’s also dad to 13-year-old daughter Peyton from a past relationship—isn’t denying his wife’s accusation, telling the outlet in a statement, “I take full accountability for the pain I caused Jessi during our marriage.”
“At that time in my life, I was deeply unhealed, and as the saying goes, hurt people hurt people,” he said. “That doesn’t excuse my behavior in any way, it’s something I’ve had to face and take full responsibility for.”
Noting that he’s “been in consistent therapy” over the past year, the DadToker added, “My focus now is on continued healing, being the best father and husband I can be, and making sure that the patterns of my past never repeat. I have deep remorse for the hurt I caused and so much respect for Jessi’s strength in continuing to fight for our marriage and family.”

Indeed, Jessi and Jordan have reconciled since the cheating scandal. As she told E! News earlier in November, “We are back together.”
“We’re trying to work on it,” she shared. “Relationships are not perfect. I think a situation like ours, it’s going to take time. It’s not going to something that’s just amazing overnight.”
