Millie Bobby Brown Makes Rare Comments About Her Baby Girl
Millie Bobby Brown’s world has been turned upside down in the best way ever.
Roughly two months after she and husband Jake Bongiovi welcomed a baby girl through adoption, the Stranger Things star reflected on motherhood and her and Jake’s decision to keep their daughter out of the spotlight.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story,” Millie said in the December issue of British Vogue, “until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself.”
And that includes revealing her daughter’s name, with the 21-year-old noting that won’t happen until “she’s ready to decide for herself”.
“If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support,” she added. “But right now, as she’s so little—as her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
Still, the Enola Holmes actress couldn’t help but gush about the life she and Jake now lead a year into their marriage, saying, “It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey—she’s taught us so much already.”
In fact, Millie shared that her entire perspective on life has shifted since becoming a mom.
“The smaller things in life are so much more precious,” she said. “Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”

And there was no one she would rather do it with than Jake, noting that she’s “so grateful to have partnered with him in this life.”
As she raved about the 23-year-old, “He is just the most amazing dad.”
And it’s not just Millie and Jake who are obsessed with their baby girl, as Jake’s dad Jon Bon Jovi confessed that he cannot get enough of being a grandfather.

“Immediately you fall in love,” he shared on Today in October. “You know, when we met Jake and Millie’s daughter, it was just immediate. You’re like, ‘That’s my granddaughter.’”
And the 63-year-old is excited for her to call him “Papa” and let him treat her like the princess she is.
“She won’t be able to walk for at least 10 or 12 years,” he joked, “because Papa will be carrying her everywhere she goes.”
