Six Part Invention paints a vivid portrait of love’s fragility in the band’s new single “Wasak Na Puso,” with BINI’s Gwen lending depth and emotion to its music video.
Lead vocalist Rey Cantong composed and produced the track that delves into grieving a lost love.
The music video shows Gwen as an audio archivist who stumbles upon a box of old recordings that tells a heartfelt message of a father to his children. Currently, it has reached over 200,000 views on YouTube.
“Thank you Gwen for being part of our ‘Wasak Na Puso’ music video. It was such a joy and honor to collaborate with you and bring this song’s story to life,” the band shared in a Facebook post.
The pop-rock band recently headlined the Aurora Music Festival 2025 held in Davao last Oct. 25 where they performed their latest single.
“Wasak Na Puso” marks Six Part Invention’s return to the music scene since the group’s 2024 single “Tama Pa Ba.” The band regularly appears on Kapamilya variety shows “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP.”
