Cardi B Has NSFW Reaction After Being Asked Why She Keeps “Getting Pregnant”
Cardi B is sharing a surprising detail about her haircare routine.
The pregnant rapper—who is expecting her fourth baby and first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs—recently shared the steps she was taking before giving her hair a wash, revealing it’s been quite some time since she gave her follicles a good lather.
“I haven’t washed my s–t in two months, I’m not even gonna front,” she said during an Instagram Live stream Oct. 27. “Matter of fact, I’m lying. Probably three months. I don’t f–king know. I probably got all types of roach eggs, mosquito eggs, everything in this b—h right here.”
The 33-year-old’s lengthy break between washes may have come as a shock to some fans, but she appeared to be going about business as usual as she nonchalantly explained her hair washing process.
“I gotta oil down my scalp, ‘cause tomorrow I’m gonna do my real hair,” she explained. “I’m gonna wash it, then around Wednesday I’m gonna braid it.”
Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) has shared her unlikely hair hacks before. In August 2022, she revealed a key ingredient to keeping her natural tresses in top form: onions.
“My last two washes I been boiling onions and using the water to wash my hair,” she explained in a post on Instagram at the time. “I used to do this six years ago when I started my healthy hair growth journey. I stopped ‘cause I got really lazy.”

And the Grammy winner—who shares kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 13 months, with ex Offset—was quick to clarify that the concoction was odorless, adding, “I notice [sic] that it’s been giving a shine to my hair.”
More recently, Cardi’s hairstyles were the subject of a slew of viral memes online while she took the stand in a lawsuit alleging she assaulted a former security guard in 2018, which the rapper denied. After a jury cleared her of any legal liability, she admitted that pulling off her fashion-forward courtroom looks was no easy feat.
“I’m telling you guys,” she said to reporters, “when I say that my forehead is raw from changing all these wigs. Raw.”
