Katy Perry & Justin Trudeau Make First Public Appearance Together
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau have something good to celebrate.
The “California Gurls” singer made her relationship with the former Canadian Prime Minister official as they attended a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris to mark her 41st birthday Oct. 25.
In photos published by TMZ, Katy—who wore a low-cut red dress for the outing—exited the venue holding hands with the 53-year-old politician, who opted for a black blazer and pants with a matching T-shirt.
Rumors that the couple were dating first surfaced in July after Katy—who had recently ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom—joined Justin for dinner together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal.
Two days later, Justin—who announced his separation from wife Sophie Grégoire in August 2023—was in attendance for Katy’s Lifetimes tour concert in the city, as seen in photos and video shared on social media.
The pair’s budding romance appeared to heat up earlier this month as they exchanged plenty of PDA on Katy’s yacht in Santa Barbara, Calif. At one point, the swimsuit-clad “Firework” artist shared a kiss with Justin, who was shirtless and in jeans, as seen in pics published by the Daily Mail.
While neither Justin nor Katy has publicly commented on their relationship status, Orlando, 48, offered a lighthearted reaction to an Instagram post shared by satirical news outlet The Onion suggesting that he had gone on a date with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In response to the comical headline and accompanying AI-generated photo, the Lord of the Rings star gave his seal of approval by leaving three clapping emojis in the comments section of the post.
All jokes aside, Orlando later confirmed he’s been doing “great” since he and Katy ended their nine-year relationship, noting that they’re focused on raising their 5-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
“We’re gonna be great,” he said during an appearance on Today in September. “It’s nothing but love.”

As she tweeted at the time, “Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy, check out how cool this is,” along with a link to an article about the actor’s charity work. Perry’s message received a stamp of approval from Gomez, who retweeted the post.
