John Stamos Slams Lori Loughlin’s “Narcissist” Ex Mossimo Giannulli

When it comes to Lori Loughlin‘s ex, John Stamos has no mercy.

The Full House star expressed his whole-hearted support for his longtime onscreen wife following her separation from husband of 27 years Mossimo Giannulli, and didn’t hold back sharing his unfiltered thoughts about the designer.

“I will never talk to him again,” Stamos told Josh Peck and Ben Soffer on the Oct. 20 episode of their Good Guys podcast. “He’s a terrible narcissist.”

“Whatever he did to her, it busted her up to the core. And she put up with a lot over the years for this guy,” he continued. “I know a lot, and I was by her side through a lot of it.”

The ER alum emphasized how heartbroken he is for his friend of 40 years.

“I know she’s just devastated,” Stamos—who also starred with Loughlin on the Netflix sequel series Fuller House—noted. “And for a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife—I know all this for a fact—to be thrown into, now, this separation exploding, blowing up her family this way. And I just hate to see her go through this.”

Stamos also reiterated his support for the 61-year-old with regard to her and Giannulli’s involvement in a college admissions scandal in which their daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, were admitted to the University of Southern California as rowing team recruits despite the fact they were not rowers.

“I really try to be there for her in this time and also with the college scandal,” the You alum continued. “I’m not gonna debate whether she had much to do with it or not. I know she didn’t.”

E! has reached out to a rep for Giannulli’s apparel company G/FORE for comment and has not heard back. Loughlin’s rep declined to comment.

In 2020, Loughlin served almost two months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, while Giannulli was sentenced to five months behind bars after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud and honest services wire and mail fraud. After the On Call actress was released, she and Stamos reconnected again.

As to what her experience was like? “In typical Lori fashion, I said, ‘How was it?’ She goes, ‘You know, I met a lot of nice ladies in there. We have a book club,'” Stamos noted. “That’s her.”

l,”Every day, we’re met with different obstacles. But, for me, it’s like that song says, ‘I get knocked down, but I get up again,'” she told First For Women in 2024. “Nobody said life was going to be a breeze; we all make mistakes, but the important thing is to persevere.”
