SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Just a few months after the largest comic and arts convention in the country, San Diego Comic-Con, took place at the San Diego Convention Center, video game streamers will be taking over the venue in real life for a weekend of meet and greets, interactive workshops, live esports and more.
Celebrate 10 years of hype with a jam-packed three-day weekend at TwitchCon San Diego 2025, set for Oct. 17-19 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Gamers and fans can experience the latest games and tech, watch streamers play live and more on the expo floor inside the convention center, while GDQ brings the world’s fastest gamers to TwitchCon.
Some of your favorite streamers will be at TwitchCon signing autographs and taking selfies with fans during meet and greets.
The Twitch Rivals Arena will pit your favorite streamers against each other, or watch from home.
Also, don’t miss the ultimate fight card showdown with “hard_mode ft. Marvel Rivals.” Nostalgia meets competition with “Sajam SLAM ft Street Fighter VI.” The “MC Championship” is a Minecraft face-off, while “Operation: Map Breakers ft. GeoGuessr” is a spy-themed role-playing game show.
The website says the Glitch Theatre will have “big reveals, wild shows and the kind of very specific chaos that only Twitch can serve up.” There will also be live DJ sets from hip-hop to house.
Get hands-on experience to help improve your stream with interactive workshops led by streamers.
Location
The main entrance will be located between Fifth Avenue and L Street at the Gaslamp arch in the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. A secondary entrance will be located at Fourth Ave and J Street.
