Hilaria Baldwin Reacts to Alec Baldwin’s Appearance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ (Exclusive)
Hilaria Baldwin doesn’t need a handbook for the married.
The Dancing with the Stars star was quick to shut down rumors that there’s trouble in her 13-year marriage to Alec Baldwin after one fan asked her about not wearing her wedding band while rehearsing for season 34 of the ABC show—and she had a bit of fun while doing so.
“Don’t worry Cammy,” Hilaria wrote alongside an Instagram video Oct. 5, addressing the person who asked the question. “Got my Alec stand-in here while he is gone working.”
In the video, the 41-year-old can be seen cuddling with a plush toy of Alec’s character Adam from the 1988 classic Beetlejuice. And Hilaria—who set the video to Danny Elfman’s Beetlejuice score—also made sure to put her wedding band on full display for the camera.
“And ring is right here,” she added. “(Tho I don’t wear to practice because it hurts with the crazy stuff we are doing).”
While Alec—who shares kids Carmen, 11, Rafael, 10 Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with Hilaria— might be busy working right now, he hasn’t been too busy to cheer on Hilaria as she competes on Dancing with the Stars alongside professional dancing partner Gleb Savchenko. And she was obviously delighted to have her loved ones by her side.

“I’m very grateful that my family is here and supporting me,” she told E! News after the show’s September premiere. “I think being a mom, your job is to support everybody else and often put yourself last. And I love that. I’m there and I’m as hardworking being a mom as I am dancing on the floor.”
She added, “I think that it’s just fun to go out there be like, ‘Oh you guys are supporting me doing this!’ It’s fun and we can all have a good time.”
And it was a twist of fate that Hilaria agreed to be on Dancing with the Stars, telling E! that it was a last-minute decision to join the cast.

“I just signed up for this right before it started, because it was not on my radar at all,” she admitted. “So it was one of these crazy last-minute things where I guess people were calling into the show, and then Dancing With the Stars reached out to me, and then I was on a plane a couple days later, and I was like, ‘What am I doing?'”
Now she and her family are living in Los Angeles, with Hilaria recalling that she signed the contract for their new house as she was getting off the plane. But overall, she’s glad with her choice.
“I did it,” she gushed, “and I’m here and I’m happy.”
