Brittany Mahomes is enchanted by Taylor Swift‘s new album.
Indeed, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared her admiration for the Grammy winner following the release of her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“@taylorswift has done it again!” Brittany wrote on her Oct. 6 Instagram Story on top of a photo of album merch sent from Taylor, which also featured the title track playing in the background. “Truly one of the best to ever do it and keep doing it!”
The photo revealed that Taylor’s package included a sweatshirt and vinyl in a sparkling orange box, as well as a copy of a handwritten note on themed stationary from Taylor, reading, “Well hi! If you’re reading this, you’re someone who has shown love, someone I admire, and ultimately someone I’d want to celebrate with as we welcome The Life of a Showgirl into the world. I hope you like these gifts and record! With love, a showgirl named Taylor.”
Despite rumors that the new song “Cancelled!” may be about their friendship, Brittany and Taylor have formed a close bond since the singer joined the NFL WAGs squad when she began dating Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce back in 2023. And as Taylor’s husband-to-be, Travis has also shared his love for her latest era.
“I keep listening to this album,” Travis told his brother Jason Kelce on their podcast New Heights Aug. 27. “I know she mentioned that it’s gonna be a lot more pop beats, but it’s just still so poetic in her melodies and her references and stuff.”
He continued, “It’s just so much fun to listen to, man.”

And Travis and Brittany aren’t the only members of the Chiefs’ inner circle that have raved about the “Opalite” singer. Even head coach Andy Reid has noted what a positive presence Taylor has been for the team.
“Obviously, women and girls are looking at the game a little more,” he said during an August appearance on the Fescoe & Dusty sports radio show. “Not that it was all tied into [Taylor], but she had a big part of that. And the NFL has bought into that, too.”
He continued. “It’s a beautiful thing all around. Like I said, the thing I appreciate most is how she handles it, how Trav handles it. They just do it the right way, and they’re not a distraction by any means.”
