SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The highly anticipated announcement of who will perform at this year’s Super Bowl is here. After teasing the impending announcement earlier Sunday, Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation announced Bad Bunny will perform the halftime show for Super Bowl LX in Northern California. The announcement came during halftime of the Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.

Bad Bunny’s February 2026 performance follows last year’s halftime performance from Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026.

Bad Bunny and Apple Music shared the announcement on X just after the NFL reveal.

The 31-year-old artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has won three Grammys and 12 Latin Grammys and has acted in films like “Bullet Train,” “Caught Stealing” and “Happy Gilmore 2.” He is also set to host Saturday Night Live for its Season 51 premiere on Oct. 4 ahead of kicking off his 2025-26 World Tour in November.

Some past iconic Super Bowl halftime performers include Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, U2 and Bruce Springsteen and many more.
