As Donald Judd’s Architecture Office reopens in Marfa following restoration, this US edition of Dezeen Agenda looks at furniture. Industrial designer Hannah told Dezeen that today’s furniture designers are working with “better ingredients”.

“The recipe hasn’t changed, but the ingredients have mostly changed for the better,” Hannah said.

In a related field, Dezeen reporter Ellen Eberhardt investigates how American lighting companies are using 3D-printing and digital manufacturing to try and fix the “extremely broken” lighting manufacturing industry.
